The Watauga Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is putting on a three-week Shop Small Scavenger Hunt Campaign called “Wander Watauga” from November 29 to December 16. The purpose of this event is to promote and encourage Watauga residents and non-residents to shop local during the holiday season.
We will feature your business in the scavenger hunt for one week if you participate in this campaign.
Materials provided:
• A poster of this event to hang outside your business with a QR code (for people to scan along with the instructions for the game).
• A “YOU FOUND ME” cartoon picture (for the customers to come in, find, and take selfies).
• Advertising of this event.
Marketing for this campaign:
• Wander Watauga ad will be placed on Watauga benches.
• City of Watauga social media outlets.

This campaign is meant to be fun and interactive and, above all, draw foot traffic into your business!
Incentives to offer to customers participating in this event are encouraged (Gift cards, coupons, samples, etc.)!
